What is Music Therapy?

Understanding what is music therapy, according to The American Music Therapy Association.
Individual and group music therapy sessions are available for a variety of populations. Music Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship of a credentialed professional (i.e. a Board-Certified Music Therapist).
Music Therapy
Piano and voice lessons are available for beginner to advanced students. Students of all abilities are welcome. Students looking for adaptive lessons are encouraged to join in the musical fun!

School-based Services
Group and individual music therapy sessions are available for students of all abilities within school settings. Sessions and interventions are created with individualized therapeutic goals and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) objectives in mind.
